Junior Sports Promotions Executive

This role is to join the Sports Promotions team to work alongside the wider Sports Trading team to create, manage and evaluate retention promotions for the Betfred business across the Online and Retail estate.  

• To help with the creation, implementation, fulfilment and analysis of all sports promotions.
• Play an important role in the reporting and related analysis of sports product performance.
• Act as point-of-contact between key internal departments to ensure Sportsbook is accurately represented across the entirety of Betfred’s digital channels and press campaigns.
• Attend weekly meetings with various departments to confirm promotions for upcoming events.
• Work closely with CRM and Marketing as a point of sign-off for Sportsbook outbound communications, with emphasis being placed on the accurate and intuitive detailing of sports propositions to our customer base.
• Work closely with representatives of other products to deliver cross-sell promotions to our customers where possible.
• Work closely with the Digital Content team to ensure promotions are accurately presented on site in a timely manner.
• Working closely with the Compliance department to create and maintain terms and conditions to ensure best practice is followed in accordance with the UKGC/ASA & CAP regulations.
• Work closely with the Retail Marketing team to create and deliver promotions to the Retail estate.
• Act as point of contact between Sportsbook and Customer Services to resolve any queries relating to promotions or related products.
• Assist the team in conducting regular industry-wide competitor analysis on the Sportsbook landscape and make business cases for the introduction of new promotional or product concepts.
• Presenting innovative new ideas to improve our Sportsbook offering to the Head Of Sports Promotions and Trading Director.
• Assist with user acceptance testing of sports bonus engine and front end where needed.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Educated to a degree level.
• Experienced in the use of Google Sheets, Microsoft Office (with a focus on Excel) and content management systems.
• Well varied sporting knowledge and a keen interest in the sports gambling industry.
