As the Retail CRM Marketing Executive you will support the Retail Marketing Manager in the development, implementation, and review of all Retail Marketing material with a specific focus on CRM. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the CRM channels, optimising customer journeys and supporting the overall marketing strategy. This role requires a proactive individual able to work with wider marketing teams to support the business targets.  


  • Work with the Marketing and product teams to produce and execute a communication schedule that aligns to the business needs.
  • Plan, design, and execute customer communications via all channels, including SMS and email.
  • Optimise customer communications, identifying key areas for growth.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of automated workflows and communications.
  • Understand KPI performance, trends and opportunities to improve future communications.
  • Plan and deliver CRM strategies to encourage customer acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure all promotions, terms and conditions and campaigns are compliant and in line with the Gambling Commission, GDPR and ASA guidelines.
  • Liaise with brand teams and Betfred.com marketing and CRM teams to ensure consistency is maintained.
  • Investigate new and innovative ways of communicating with Betfred’s customers.
  • Perform competitor analysis and when relevant utilise to drive growth.
  • Work closely with the wider team supporting the day-to-day marketing requirements including the implementation of campaigns, and the measurement of effectiveness.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong Excel and data management skills.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and interest in the sporting calendar and gambling industry.
  • Experience of marketing communication systems.
  • Understanding of customer segmentation.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own workload.
  • Proactive, resourceful, flexible and creative.
