Betfred are looking for talented individuals to join their Sports Trading team.

The Sports Trading team are responsible for the delivery of all sports products outside of Football & Horse Racing and assume all accountability for the profit & loss, odds compiling, trading and risk management of each respective product across all Digital and Retail channels for both pre-match and in play.

The successful candidates will be flexible enough to cover a range of sports though opportunities to specialise in specific products will be possible dependant on the individual’s knowledge and expertise.

·      Compilation of betting odds for specific sports and markets.

·      Trading and management of betting markets and associated risk management.

·      Constant monitoring of all incoming bets across all Digital & Retail channels.

·      Liaison with internal Product, Marketing. Media, Technology & Customer Service teams.

·      Utilise all 3^rd party data feeds as efficiently as possible.

·      Undertake extensive analysis of product performance and all related business.

·      Work towards financial targets set by senior management.

·      Manage all sports and markets in accordance with directed parameters.

·      Authorise large bet referrals from Retail estate.

·      Monitor all live sports action.

What you’ll need to succeed:

·      Experience within the betting industry in a Trading role is essential

·      Good all-round sporting knowledge and a strong interest in betting and odds.

·      Strong numeracy skills and excellent understanding of betting percentages, margins etc.

·      Strong work ethic and the ability to be innovative.

·      Knowledge of betting platforms and 3^rd party data providers would be advantageous.

·      High level of computer literacy.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
